Introductions
My name is Cody Gentz, and welcome to my online portfolio. Originally from Kenosha, WI, I have been a technology enthusiast for almost as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is playing games on my PlayStation 2 and being fascinated with how they worked and how they were made. I started by checking out programming books from the library and teaching myself the basics, and I have not stopped developing my skills since. This lead to me attending Lakeview Technology Academy in Pleasant Prairie, WI, one of the best tech schools in the state, and then eventually pursuing a Computer Science degree at UW – Stout.
I’m not just all about programming, though. My love for gaming has also lasted since the PS2 era. I mainly play on PC, these days, and I’ve built my own computers. Some of my favorite games are Skyrim, Civilization V, and Assassin’s Creed 4. My other main hobby is following government and politics. In a different timeline, I probably watched Law and Order, instead of playing PlayStation, and went on to become a lawyer. I believe voting and staying at least somewhat informed of the activities of government is massively important on a personal and societal level.
